I was really blown away by the moon photos posted on Pioneer Woman’s site last week. I was really inspired to try to take some of my own. It hasn’t been a full moon, but I thought I’d practice a bit now so that when the moon is full I will have my technique down.

Perfect. I have attempted many moon shots, and have had a few successes. None of them compare to these though. Amazing. What size lens did you use for these?

I used my 75-300mm lens for these. I had it all the way zoomed to 300mm. I tried a few first with my other lens that goes to 200mm, but they weren’t as good as these.
