I went on a field trip with a professional photographer friend of mine, Krista Ellis. She mentioned going to the Great Salt Lake and taking photos of our kids. We decided to do it this week. It was really windy, and we went a little bit to early. By the time the light got really nice, the kids were done. I had a really great time. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at all the photos. I got more good shots than I thought. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks! Actually, the Great Salt Lake isn’t nearly as nice as these photos make it look. In the summer it is really hot and full of brine shrimp and brine flies. The sulfur smell is disgusting! Luckily the day we went it was windy, so the smell was tolerable.

Great shots! (Your younguns look so nice in those white sweaters…I immediately thought, “Huh…maybe my boys should have white sweaters, too.” Then realized I said two no-nos in one sentence – boys and white. Heh…)
