It’s official! we are not having any more kids. I know, I know he isn’t sterile until we bring in 2 clear sperm samples. But, I have an IUD and I won’t be having it taken out for, oh, about a year. I don’t want any surprises
The actual procedure went without a hitch. Scott took the Valium that they gave him, about an hour before his appointment. He was extremely relaxed and kind of funny. The clinic was packed, so we had to wait a bit, but once we got in everything went quickly. I think the whole thing only took about 15 minutes. Once Scott got all numbed up, he said he didn’t feel a thing. He is supposed to try to stay off his feet as much as possible for 2 days. He spent most of today laying on the couch with his ice bag. He said that he hasn’t had much pain.
I am just happy that he was willing to have it done. I know that so many husbands have strange hang ups and don’t want to do it. Luckily, Scott never had any of those. For us it just made so much more sense than any of the alternatives. I am proud of him for being so brave and for being such a good patient

Well, if this post doesn’t deserve my first ever blog comment, I don’t know what does! WTG Scott! And here’s to NO MORE KIDS! (for any of us, huh?!)
P.S. Last night was really really fun!

Kerry, you’re so nice… I didn’t go with Brian when he had his! LOL
He scheduled it on the only day I told him I couldn’t go. (It was Jordan’s kindergarten orientation…) He had to go alone, and he didn’t want to see my Mom when he walked in the door… (she was watching Madison and Reagan while I was gone) and so he drove around the neighborhood for a half an hour until he knew she wasn’t there.
Poor guy… LOL
