Remember how I posted about Ian being night trained? Wouldn’t you know it, as soon as I wrote about it he proceeded to wet the bed the next 2 nights! I think I jinxed myself. I guess he needs to go back to wearing the alarm for a few more nights.

I got to take photos of another little baby today! One of my brothers friends who I have known for about 20 years had his first baby a month ago. I offered to take photos for them, and we did it today. Unfortunately, it did not go well. The little guy just didn’t want any part of it. He cried most of the time. I think there are a few shots worth keeping, but I was disappointed that we didn’t get more. He is a REALLY adorable baby, and I just didn’t do him justice with the photos. I’ll post a few of them when I get them edited.

Besides that I have been trying to get caught up on my laundry for about 3 days now. Emma was putting her dirty clothes in the hamper the other day and said to Scott “Mom really needs to do the laundry because I can’t fit another thing into my hamper!” I think it had been almost 2 weeks! I have just been so busy the last few weeks. But I am almost all caught up now. I think I have one more load to fold and put away and then I will be done. Whew!

Not much else new to report. I seem to be busy every day. I feel like I have hardly any time to stop and catch my breath, but I don’t really know what I accomplish in a day. My time just gets filled up with dropping off kids, picking up kids, driving kids to activities, buying groceries, cooking meals, cleaning up after meals, and the never ending cleaning up the house. I am really happy every night when the kids go to bed and I can finally just spend a few minutes decompressing. Usually by writing in my blog or editing photos.

Speaking of which, it has been nice, because I have gotten to take a lot of photos lately. I really love photography and have been thinking more and more about how to take my photography to the next level. I still feel like I have so much to learn, but I am encouraged by the progress I can see in my photos. I have been looking around for a photography workshop that I could attend. Katie, from Peekaboo Photos recommended a workshop that sounds great. She said that Brianna Graham’s Workshops were the best she has attended. I’d love to be able to go to one. I checked her website, and she is coming to SLC this year. I really want to go, but I am not sure if I can justify the expense. I might just have to splurge and call it my Valentines/Mother’s Day/Anniversary present

So that is about it for now. Hopefully tomorrow I will have some more sweet baby photos to post!
