We had dinner last night at Vito’s. It was QUITE a night Jack Johnson was with us. I decided I wanted to have a glass of wine, since it had been such a long time since I had celebrated! Jack talked to Vito and ordered a really nice bottle of wine. I didn’t end up drinking much of it. A while into dinner Ian said to me “Mommy I have poo poo on my back!” I looked and he had poo up his back all the way to his neck. It was on the highchair and all over him. I calmly took him and the seat into the bathroom. I stripped all his clothes off him, and got him in a clean diaper. He even had poo in his hair, and here I am in a public bathroom. I contemplated sticking him in the sink, but I decided not to since I didn’t have a towel. I threw all his clothes into a garbage bag, and went back to try to eat my dinner. My stomach had been bothering me all afternoon, and the poo fest didn’t help

We went home, and everyone fell into bed, so bedtime was easy. I even got to bed fairly early. But, I woke up at about 1:00am and I felt terrible! I ended up throwing up and having diarrhea. In between trips to the bathroom I had to nurse Nora, and put Ian back into his bed twice. Ahh…the joys of being a mom!
