Ian has been really into dressing like a cowboy lately. A few months ago Scott and I bought him some cowboy boots from a western shop in Evanston Wyoming. He LOVES them and I find him wearing them all the time. Last week my mom and I took the kids to the Sheepdog trials in Midway. There was a cowboy hat booth and we got Ian a really nice cowboy hat. He loves to wear them both!

Last week he was pretending that he had a horse. He has really been pretending a lot lately–it is so cute! Well, he was galloping around and talking to his horse Spotcan. I couldn’t figure out what he was saying at first, and I asked him about it. He said “Spotcan is a good name for a horse!”. He loves to make up words, and I agreed. Spotcan is a good name for Ian’s horse.
