Today was the Park City ski swap. I can’t remember the last time I went to the ski swap. I have so many memories of the ski swap as a child. I can remember my mom always selling our old things there. We would go on Friday night and it was always a mad house. We would carry arm loads of things in. Everyone selling things would set up a little station to tag all of their things. I remember it alway being late and it felt like it took forever. I always wanted to just go home. We would get everything checked in. Then we would get up early the next morning and come back to shop. We always had to go early, because that is when you would get all the good things. People would make a mad dash and grab item after item, and then decide later what to buy.
Our experience today was a lot more calm. Emma needed new skis and boots, so I thought we should go take a look. We found some really cute pink Atomic skis right away. They were new and a great deal, so we grabbed those. Then we went to look for boots and easily found some new Nordicas. I have been wanting new boots for quite a few years. I decided to try some on and I found some great ones. I am so excited! I got these Nordica boots. Now I am really looking forward to ski season.
