Emma woke up this morning before everyone else, and played in her room like she usually does. A few hours later she went into my mom’s room to talk to her.

Emma:Nana, the kiki* belongs to me, right?
Nana: Yes.
Emma: Since it is mine, I can do whatever I want with it, right?
Nana: Emma, what did you do to it?
Emma: I cut holes in it!
Nana: Oh, Emma, you ruined it….
Emma: Don’t tell my mommy, ok?

*Kiki is what Emma named her blankie

A few weeks ago we watched “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”. They cut holes in a sheet to make a ghost costume, and I guess that is what she was trying to do.
