I had been feeling like I was starting to get the hang of my new camera. Until today at my nephew’s birthday party, that is. I brought my camera to get some practice and hopefully get some good shots of all the kids. I feel like I failed miserably!

Indoor photography is so much harder! I brought my Speedlite flash, but I am still feeling pretty clueless about how to use it. Some of my pictures the people turned out slightly overexposed, but the background was totally black. Others were properly exposed, but they turned out blurry. I tried lots of different combinations, but I didn’t get many good shots. I REALLY need to take some photography classes.
