November is National Blog Posting Month. There is a contest and some people who post EVERY day in November will win prizes. I know that not many people read my blog–up until Nora was born I never even gave out the link. This is sort of my journal and I feel a little funny about people reading it. I am really most worried about people like my family reading it. What if I post about my disagreements with Scott, and then he reads it? I don’t have to worry about my parents ever reading it–that would require turning on a computer first Anyway, I thought it sounded like a fun thing to do, so I entered myself in the contest. Plus, later it might be fun to look back and read about what my life was like with Nora as a newborn.

Speaking of Nora, she is starting to wake up a bit more. I think we are getting a look at her personality. She seems to be a super calm baby She has been sleeping less during the day, and she is so content when she is awake. She just looks around at things. She has started to be able to focus on more things. I will be holding her up on my shoulder, and I can see her looking at something. If I turn my body to try to turn her, she stays focused on what she is looking at and her head stays in the same direction while I turn her body. She hasn’t smiled yet, but I can tell it is coming. Last night and tonight when I was putting on her pjs I was kissing her feet. I could see her face light up, and I could tell that she liked it. She is so cute, and I am really falling in love with her!
