Our 13 month old, Michael, has breath holding spells. I just remembered that Ian has them too, and it looks like Heidi's daughter has them too, from her comment on one of your previous posts. Saturday night Michael had a spell and it turned into a seizure. I had no idea that could happen. It's never happened before with either of our boys who have had the spells. We called 911 immediately. The seizure lasted 20 minutes. Michael stopped breathing after he was given Ativan at the hospital. He was life flighted to Primary Children's and we stayed there for 2 days. Fortunately everything was fine, but Saturday was definitely the most harrowing night of my life!
