Well, I intended to keep posting on a daily basis, but I haven’t been doing very well, have I?

We are having a great time in Maui. So far, the weather has been perfect, and I have been doing great juggling all 3 kids without Scott. The sling has been my best friend when we are out and about. But, I wish I would have tried the new one out more before I got here. I tried it at home and thought it seemed a little big, but I figured it would be fine. But, since I have been using it here, it is definitely too big ;-( But, I got online and ordered a new one, and it should be here today! Emma and Ian have been swimming everyday. That has worked out great too. They just both wear floaties, and as long as I am right on the side, I really don’t need to be in the water with them. I can just sit with Nora in the water sling, or in her car seat, and watch the older kids. We have even been out to dinner multiple times. Last night we went to Taco Tuesday!! YUMMY. The tacos were so delicious–just like I remembered. I am proud of myself for doing so well

Nora continues to be a fantastic baby. I am so lucky!!! She is so calm and mellow. When she is awake she loves to just lay on a blanket and kick her legs. I love to just sit by her and watch her–she always gives me such cute smiles. She is a GREAT sleeper at night. She usually wakes once a night, around 3:30am, and then sleeps until around 6:30am, nurses again and then gets up when I do. I am so lucky–I am actually getting a lot of sleep! I am really enjoying her.

Scott gets here on Friday, and I am really looking forward to him being here. I am happy he will have such a nice long trip this year. He deserves it after the great year he has had. The kids will really enjoy him being here too!
