We have been hit with our first big snowstorm of the season. It started snowing yesterday and has been snowing pretty much constantly since then. It is supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow! We got all our projects done just in time. The heat tape was finished last week, and we just got the vent holes cut in the storage room yesterday. We are crossing our fingers that the vents will solve our moisture problem.

I have to say, I am not very excited about winter this year. We just got our landscaping in at the end of the summer. We were really enjoying our yard, and the kids were enjoying the playground. I guess we got our trees in just in time too. I can’t wait to see the landscaping in the spring. I bet all the trees are going to look great!

One thing I do enjoy about winter, though, is snow blowing Call me crazy, but I just really like to do it. I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing a clear driveway. I broke out the snowblower today! But, I wasn’t able to do it before I had to drive on the driveway. I hate to drive on the snow first, because then the car packs down the snow, and it turns to ice. I hate looking at the freshly snowblown driveway and seeing 2 strips of packed down snow that the snow blower couldn’t get. Am I anal or what? Then, almost as soon as I finished, the snowplow came by and pushed all the snow back into the end of the driveway. I hate that too!
