I am off for an impromptu trip to San Francisco. When I talked to Scott yesterday, I told him I was feeling lonely. He suggested I come out and meet him. At first I thought there was no way that I would be able to do it. He said I should try to call Dava, and see if she would be able to watch the kids. I decided to give it a try. She said yes! There were a bunch of details to work out, but I got everything sorted out. Dava volunteered, but my parents are actually going to watch the kids. Dava is always so great, and so willing to help. It is so nice to have her to count on. She makes me feel like I am doing her a favor when she watches the kids!

I am really excited about the trip. It will be so nice to spend some time with Scott without the kiddos. He will be at his convention all day tomorrow and Friday, but we will get to spend the evenings together. I am looking forward to just relaxing and reading. I am also really excited to just walk around San Francisco and take photos. I am missing my photography class field trip, but I think I will have plenty of photo opportunities in San Francisco.
