Ian had his first sleepover at a friend’s house this week.

I had originally planned to take Ian to the symphony with one of my friend’s and her daughter. I ended up not being able to go because I wanted to go to the family session with Bryan. Vicky volunteered to take Ian without me. She also invited him to just stay with them all day and spend the night. Ian was so excited!

I wasn’t sure how he would do. I remember my first sleepover. I called my mom in the middle of the night and wanted to come home. He has spent the night at my parents house many times, but he has never stayed at a friend’s house.

He did great! He had a fantastic time. He hasn’t stopped talking about it since he got home. Vicky said he was a perfect little gentleman. I’m sure she must have exaggerated
