I swore I wasn’t going to enter this week. Each week I spend way too much time on this. I spend forever pouring over my photos trying to pick out the perfect one. Then I spend more time editing it and trying to make it perfect. Each week I am sure that I have found a great photo and I convinced that I will be in the top ten. Each Saturday I am really disappointed when I don’t see my photo included. I always wonder why, and wish that I could ask someone what was wrong with my photo. But I love the blog traffic and all of the wonderful comments. This week I just decided to enter for fun. I don’t have the perfect messy face photo, but I like this one of Nora and it brings back nice memories. Hope you enjoy it!

Oh no! You can’t feel like that! Have you seen the entries. I mean they are phenominal. You have to just remember that this is just for fun and also, photography is VERY subjective. You could love one thing to pieces and a another photographer could not love it nearly as much. That’s ok. I am so glad you entered this picture because it is adorable and truly messy : ). She is a beautiful baby!

I agree with Kaishon. Photography is totally subjective to the eye of the beholder. Kind of like beauty! I feel the same way sometimes but then you just have to remember that each judge is coming from a different perspective and you can’t take it personally. It is for the enjoyment and also you make so many new friends. You should keep entering because just when you least expect it things happen.
PS… I love the color of Nora’s eyes!
