Tonight when Emma and I got home from dance, Ian and Scott were watching the classic Frosty the Snowman cartoon from 1969. It brings back so many memories for me. Since we didn’t have VCRs or DVD players then, we only got to watch once a year. I can remember counting down the days until it would be on television. I remember Bryan and I getting in our pajamas and settling in to watch it. I usually had a hard time staying awake until the end…not much has changed I would wake up the next morning and be so sad that I had fallen asleep.

Last year I found both Frosty and Rudolf on DVD. There are so many new Christmas kids movies, but I was so excited to get the classic shows for the kids. I still love watching them. I am sure my kids won’t grow up loving them as much as I did, but I love sitting down and watching them!
