Every Friday one of my favorite blogs, I love faces, host a “Fix-it-Friday”. They post a photo and then ask people to edit it to make it better. I love looking at how everybody edits the photos.
I feel like the editing is one area where my photography skills are lacking. I feel like I have a good handle on how my camera works. I am pretty happy with how my “eye” and my composition skills are developing. My editing skills are holding me back from making some of my good photos great. Particularly my portraits.
I haven’t participated in the Fix-it Friday’s because I don’t feel my editing skills are all that great. This week I decided that practice makes perfect and I gave it a go.
I used Photoshop CS3. I can’t really go through the steps for you because I just played around with it until I came up with something I liked
Go check out I ♡ Faces to see all the other Fix-it Friday participants!

What a fantastic edit! I think it’s just beautiful. You lit up his face perfectly and made it so bright and sharp! Great Fix!
