My Dad has been talking about taking the kids fishing at Glenwild for awhile now. We got up early and met my mom and dad there at 7:30am. It was hard getting up and out the door, but it was worth it.
We got there and took a golf cart out to the lake. We got the poles all rigged up. I set mine up with cheese and got it into the water. It wasn’t in the water more than a minute before we got our first fish. I gave the pole to Ian so he could reel it in. It was a really nice rainbow trout. It was probably about 15 inches, and really fat. We just kept catching fish after fish. It was so perfect for the kids–the fish kept biting so there wasn’t much down time.
Nora had a great time too. She ran around the lake and played with Nana. Grandpa went and got treats and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from the snack box. It think eating was Nora’s favorite part
Ian loved getting all dressed up. He has a fishing vest that he wears around the house. He was so excited to really get to wear it fishing. I got a photo of him, but not a very good one. He is in a photo funk lately. Every time I try to take his picture he covers his face or makes faces at me.
We all had a great time. It was fun to all spend time together!

Oh, I think that the photo of Ian is ADORABLE!!! What fun!
