It was a really nice day today. It was fairly warm and the sun was shining. Last week we bought a new sled, and we thought today was a perfect day to try it out.

We went to our local middle school. The soccer field is a perfect place for young children to go sledding. There are some small hills for the little ones, and steeper ones for the more daring kids.

Ian was the first one to try it out. I think he was a bit surprised at how fast he went, and he got a little scared. He played around in the snow for a while before he tried it again. After a while I convinced him to go again with me. After we went a few times, he was off on his own, and had a great time.

Emma was a surprise. She was a little dare devil. She loved it! The faster she went, the happier she was.

Nora had a great time too. She loved the snow. She was a great sport. It was kind of hard for her to walk, and she kept falling down. When she fell, she would just lay there for a few minutes and lick the snow. When she was ready she would get up and try again.

It was a fun family activity, and everyone had a great time. As soon as we got home the kids asked if we could go again tomorrow!
