Do you speak Nora-ese?

Nora has really been talking a lot lately. She has had a vocabulary explosion! She says things so cute. She started saying “spicy” any time anything is hot. She doesn’t use it just for spicy things, but for temperature too. If food is hot, it’s spicy. If it is hot in the car, it’s spicy. Another one of my favorites is “A bottle!”. She says it so cute and with so much enthusiasm. She kind of rolls the double t. She uses this one for any and all liquids. She says it when she wants a drink–any drink, not just an actual bottle. The other day I had her in the clubhouse at Jeremy Ranch. They had a fountain on the wall, and Nora saw it and yelled “A BOTTLE!”. She was so excited and it was adorable. A few days ago it was raining. She looked out on the back deck and said “a bottle”. We drove by a lake, and that was a bottle too. I really love how kids talk like this. Emma had a few words that she said wrong, and I never corrected her because I thought it was so cute! I think she still says “Yew Nork” when she is talking about New York.

Oh my word… “spicy” is so terribly cute! I had to tell DH about it and he thought it was DARLING! I think he wishes Reagan would say things are “spicy” when they’re hot! (He may just work with her on that one! ;) )
