Our day started really early today–4:30am to be exact! Nora woke up crying and never went back to sleep. Since all 3 kids were together, they all decided to get up together. Both Scott and I tried to get Nora to go back to sleep, but all she was interested in was climbing all over us. We tried to have her in bed with us until about 6:30 but we finally decided to just get up and get an early start on the day. We had some breakfast and then it was off to the park.

The first place we went was to the castle to see Sleeping Beauty’s wishing well. The wishing well is one of my favorite spots in the park. I love just sitting there and listening to Sleeping Beauty sing “I’m Wishing”. It reminds me of when Scott and I first started dating. Since Scott is from Huntington Beach, we used to go to Disneyland on a pretty regular basis. I always loved the wishing well. I can remember just hanging out there holding hands. Before we left the hotel room this morning Emma started singing the “I’m Wishing” song completely out of the blue. I told her about the wishing well, and that was the first place we went. I stood there today looking at Scott and the kids and I felt all emotional. I thought about how far Scott and I have come and what a great little family we have. I felt so happy to be there with our kids. Who knew when we stood there 17 years ago that we would be coming back there with 3 kids of our own someday.
