I am happy to report that my spinning classes have paid off.

My dad and I picked up our bikes today. The bike I got is a nice Cannondale rode bike. We planned to just ride them home from the bike shop, but our little bike ride turned into a 3 hour ride. I wish I had my camera because the views were amazing. But, I guess I’ll just have to wait until we do it again to take some photos.

It has probably been at least 5 years since I have ridden the ride we did today. Back then I wasn’t a biker at all. Still, there are so many elevation changes. The last time I did it, I remember the hills being killer. Today, however, they were so much easier than I remembered them. I am sure it was because I am in so much better shape now than I was back then. Plus I have a lot more experience on my bike.

It was really a lot of fun and I felt lucky to be out there with my Dad!
