I had such a great vacation in Maui. It was extremely relaxing. I enjoyed being away from the computer and all the new responsibilities that I have lately with my new photography business. I enjoyed just taking a few photos for fun. I really enjoyed playing with my new Canon G11 camera, too. Here are a few snapshots from our trip to the Maui Ocean Center.

I have been the worst at taking photos on this trip! The good news is, I am really enjoying the trip. So much so that I want to enjoy the moments while they are happening rather than hiding behind my camera. I know I should probably be posting some Thanksgiving photos, but you know what? I didn’t take any. I don’t think anyone in my family took a single photo on Thanksgiving. So instead I’ll show you some of this fun urban shoot I did this week.

I photographed one of my best friends daughters this week. They were one of the first families I photographed last year when I was just starting out. They came back this week for more. We chose a tough location…the sun was really bright and then gone. Then it got REALLY COLD! I think we still ended up with some nice shots. Here you go Yori!

Our weekend at Disneyland!

I decided to leave my big camera at home this weekend. I just brought the point and shoot so I didn’t have to worry about my camera and so I could just enjoy being with my kiddos. We had a great time.

Wanna see what I have been doing this weekend? I attended and awesome photography workshop–Rock That Off Camera Flash, with Ali Hohn. I got to hang around with some fun talented photographers (Hi Heidi ) and learn more about flash photography. We had so many laughs and it was a really great weekend. I’m sad to see it come to an end.
