Tomorrow we are leaving for North Carolina for 10 days I am excited–it will be Nora’s first trip and she is just 4 weeks old. I went on trips with both Emma (NC) and Ian (Maui) at 6 weeks. It should be pretty easy–I would bet Nora will sleep the whole time. I am thinking I am just going to check her car seat, and use the sling the whole time.

I have a ton of things to do today. I am just finishing up the laundry and I am starting to pack for the kids. It is always hard to pack for NC because the weather fluctuates a lot. I also have a bunch of errands to run. Tomorrow will be a dry run for our trip to Maui in December. I am starting to get a bit nervous about traveling with all 3 kids BY MYSELF! But, the vacation will be worth it

Nora is getting so much better at sleeping. Last night I put her in her bed at about 8:00pm. Then Scott and I went in the hot tub it felt so good! She slept until about 9:30, then I fed her and put her back. She woke at 12:30 and 3:30 and both times I fed her and put her back to bed. She stayed in her own bed until about 5:30 when she woke again–that time I just brought her to bed with me. But she is doing great and gradually staying in her own bed all night!
