Emma has a really great vocabulary. She can carry on a conversation with any adult. I don’t think she ever baby talked. People always commented on what a great talker she was. People say the same about Ian. But, Emma has a few words that she says wrong, and I just can’t correct her. They are so cute!
Tonight we were on our way back from dinner and we saw an ambulance, and she looked at it and said “Look Mommy, there’s the ambleence”. It just sounds so cute, especially from someone that speaks so well, that I just don’t want to correct her.
Another funny one is how she says binoculars. Last week when we went to the zoo, she got a toy pair of binoculars. She kept calling them binocleears. Even Ian said it correctly, but I didn’t want Emma to say it right–she just sounds so cute.
ketchup is kepetch. She has said that since she was just talking. I think she knows the right way to say it now, but she still calls it kepetch.

That’s so cute! Makes me remember when my Taylor would call a Helicopter a “Hop-i-topper” LOL
And I’m not commenting on the Nora sleeping 7 hours… I’m being totally jealous.
