We are right in the middle of wedding week. Today is the wedding, and so far it has been fun! Jim Brown has been staying with us for 2 days. Sweets and Charlotte got here last evening. It felt so good to show them all our house–I was really proud of it. Charlotte LOVED it! Scott was really proud of it too! He was so cute showing them all the little extras he put in. He has been enjoying the deck and smoking cigars out there with Jim and Sweets.

Last night was the rehearsal dinner. It was at Kent and Danielle’s house. They have a gorgeous house near Cottonwood Animal Hospital. I really liked it–I felt a bit envious–which was stupid because our house is beautiful too. Their yard was absolutely beautiful and perfectly manicured. But, I know we will have a yard soon too Their house is much more classic where ours is more mountain style. They don’t have any kids, and they have lots more decorations. I think that is what I felt the most envious about. That is what I feel that my house is lacking. I need some decorations. I think I might need to try to find a decorator to help me with those things. I just don’t know what would work around here. I was thinking about maybe going the Parade of Homes again to just look at the decorating. Maybe I can get some good ideas.

All of the family isn’t here yet, but almost. Heather got in late yesterday afternoon. Her kids were all so cute, and Bea is ADORABLE. She has the nicest skin and looks so yummy! It made me really excited to have a baby again. I was holding her and cuddling her and she was beautiful More will arrive today and this afternoon is the big day! Hopefully it won’t be too much of a nightmare with Ian. I am hoping to have some fun too
