I have had a really nice last couple of days. Scott has been so nice to me, and we have been getting along GREAT!

Thursday afternoon Scott came home around 2:00pm, so we spent the afternoon together, and I got to take a nap. That night we went to the movies, just the two of us. I can’t remember the last time we did that! We saw “School of Rock” with Jack Black. It was sort of dumb, but entertaining. It was nice to just be there together. My mom and dad watched Emma, and they all had a great time together.

Friday I spent the morning cleaning the refrigerator and doing laundry and just straightening up. The fridge looks great! I always feel so good after I get stuff like that done. Sue called while I was cleaning and I talked to her for a while. She sounds good. It was nice to catch up with her.

Scott came home from work early and we went and bought pumpkins, and carving kits. Scott wanted to carve pumpkins with Emma. I thought it was so cute that he thought of that, and wanted to do it. It was a lot of fun! It was a nice thing to all do together. Emma even thought it was fun, but her attention span was short. She liked holding the little carving tool and “sawing’ Scott’s pumpkin. It was really cute. We toasted the pumpkin seeds and ate them too. It was a nice way to spend time together, and I really enjoyed it.

Today Scott wanted to make bread together. We went shopping and bought all the stuff. He has been so sweet. I also mentioned that there was a Unique Baby Boutique party that I thought about going to. He was totally encouraging, and so I went to that. It was fun, I saw Katie, Kim, Amorette, Celeste, and Marly from the Natural Mothering Utah board. I ordered some hemp breast pads and some Bottom spray to soothe the perineum after childbirth It was fun.

I have just really enjoyed the time I have spent with Scott the last few days. I feel really lucky to be married to such a great guy. He is such a fantastic father, and he is so nice to me. We are a great team!
