I got a new ski outfit yesterday! I am so excited. When I went skiing with dad on Wednesday, he told me he would buy me an outfit I can’t really remember the last time I got a new ski outfit, that was purchased just for me. I know I sound kind of pathetic, but I don’t mean it that way. I have had lots of hand me downs from my mom, I just haven’t had a new outfit in years! I love it! It is Nills, and has a green, grey and white jacket, and grey pants to match. The pants look great, they are a really flattering cut, but still have lots of room. And, they are not too tight in the waist. Now, I can’t wait to go skiing so I can wear it. But, I think I may have to wait until next week. This week is presidents week, and I don’t think that I want to brave the crowds.

Last night I went to Midway, and had our taxes done by Garth’s assistant. He didn’t get us quite as much of a refund as I did using turbo tax, but at least what he did is correct. I had deducted Scott’s mileage, but I didn’t put back in the money that he is given for a car allowance each month. So, at least now it is correct. I also had forgotten about paying points on our mortgage. So we get to deduct that too. I can’t wait to get the refund so we can get some new furniture!!

Scott comes home this morning. I am really glad. He has been gone since Tuesday, and it has really felt like a long time. I have missed him. He gets in about 10:30am, and then he has to pick up his car from Audi. Boy, that car has been expensive lately. This time the windshield wipers were not working, and it was $400 to fix!! There is another problem with the tie bar, and somthing else I can’t remember. So it still needs about $400 worth of work, plus a new windshield. Ugh. But at least we have no car payment.

I think I am going to take the kids to the field house this morning, for Dondi’s “playgroup”. It just bugs me when people have outings instead of hosting at their houses. But, I think it will be fun for the kids, and then when we are done Scott should be home!
