Yesterday was Emma’s birthday party. She looked so adorable, and she had a great time! We went to the Kamas pool, and all her friends from school came–including Mrs. Britton. Emma was so excited when she saw her. We had pizza and cake, and then opened presents. Emma loved all the presents. She got so many princess, and dress up things, she was thrilled! Then we went swimming and all the kids loved that. It was a great party and I think everyone had lots of fun.
Then Scott and I went on a date! We took the kids to my parents house and they spent the night there
We didn’t plan ahead, so we couldn’t do anything great, but we planned on going to the Veggie House and then to the Grizzlies game. We got the the Veggie House and they were closed for remodeling. Bummer….but at least they are not closed for good. I was worried! They are opening again on February 25th, so we will go back again!!! So we just drove down the street and we saw this Indian place, and went there. The food was delicious!! I had Dal soup that was great, and Chicken Coconut Kurma–YUM YUM! I couldn’t stop eating, and I left there so full. But it was fun to just go out with the two of us.
Scot and I talked about this pregnancy. I asked him if he was excited, and he said not really. It made me really sad, and I cried. But, then we talked about it a bit more and I could understand more of his point of view. I know that right now, it still isn’t real to him. He doesn’t have a baby inside him, and he isn’t thining about it all the time like I am. Also, I don’t look pregnant, and it will be a long time before the baby is born. I know that he just doesn’t have the connection yet that I have. I told him that I already feel like I have 3 kids, just one is inside me. He was blown away by that. We both know that when I get closer to delivery and when we have the baby, that he will be excited.
The Grizzlies game was great! They played Las Vegas. It ended in sudden death shoot out, and DJ Jellito won the game. I was so excited, and so happy he could win the game in front of his hometown crowd!!
