I am just about 35 weeks now…I can’t believe it has been so long since my last entry. I am still feeling good. It is starting to be more difficult to move around lately, and I am much more tired–especially in the afternoons. I have still been working out, but a bit less than I was. I had one day last week that was a bit concerning, I had lots of BH contractions and I just didn’t feel “right” all day. I felt like I could be going into labor. But, I spent the afternoon laying down, and thankfully everything calmed down.

This week I am going to San Francisco with mom for 2 days! I am excited. It should be fun. She is going to shop for a new diamond ring, and she is staying with Auntie Carol Anne. I think it will be a fun little getaway. Scott is staying with the kids one night, and then Sarah is going to come the next night because Scott is going out of town. I am excited to have a little time to myself.

Our landscaping turned out fantastic! I really love it. It feels so good to just go outside and walk around and look at it. Now I just need to plant some of the beds, but that will come in time. I ordered a perennial garden today from a catalog to plant along the front flower beds. It was a bit of a splurge, but I think it is going to look great! I can’t wait to get it all planted. I would still like to buy another big pine tree for the backyard and then I have been eyeing a bunch of tree peonies. They are really expensive, but I think I may splurge on them too. I can’t plant them next year, because they have to be planted in the fall. So, if I am going to do it, now is the time!

I think we are just about ready for the baby to arrive. We got the nursery all painted, and I finished setting up the crib today. I put the Pottery Barn Kids bedding on the bed–it looks like a perfect little boys room If it is a girl, I’ll just need to change the bedding. I still need to set up the bassinet in our room, and pack my bag, and put the infant car seat in my car. Besides that, everything is done. I was thinking about it today, and I have 16 days left until the baby is 37 weeks and could be born at the birth center. WOW!! I am sure baby won’t come then, but it is exciting that it could be here soon!
