I had a busy week this week! I did 3 sessions and a wedding!
The wedding was hard. I still have so much to learn about flash photography. Luckily I have a flash class at the University of Utah starting this week and next week I am going to Rock That Off Camera Flash. Between the two of them, I should learn a little more about how to better use my flash.
I haven’t edited everything, but here are a few of my favorites from the week.

Here are a few more templates. This is the “Welcome Baby” collection from Jamie Schultz. I have only included the girl versions in this post. The boys will follow soon.
All of these are size 5×7 and have both a front and a back. All of the colors are flexible and can be changed to anything you would like.
I am excited to show you the new birth announcement templates that I will be offering to my clients.
These were created by Jamie Schultz, from Jamie Schultz Designs. I LOVE her style and I think these birth announcements are amazing.
Take a look and let me know what you think!

I got to photograph this adorable newborn this week. Baby S was so sweet and she was perfect for me. She was awake when I got there so we got a few awake shots, then she promptly fell asleep. It was a pleasure meeting and photographing this cute family!

What an adorable photo!
This was a fun one to work on. It really didn’t need that much work. I just brightened it up with curves, color corrected with curves, and used the spot healing brush and the patch tool to clean up the face. Then I sharpened it and resized it for the web.
That’s it!

Today is my youngest daughter’s third birthday. For her special day I thought I’d post a few photos I took of her this week.
Happy Birthday Nora!

I have been working on a new marketing set for my photography business. I bought a cheap template set that I liked and I planned on using that. I started working with it and found that it was really difficult to use and it was going to be really time consuming. I decided that I could better spend my time doing other things, so I decided to hire someone to do it.
I used Kim Drury from MadiLu Designs and I couldn’t have been happier! She was awesome to work with. She worked really hard to make sure I loved my new set. She even started over in the middle of the design process because I just wasn’t loving what we had come up with.
I can now say that I truly LOVE my new set. I can’t wait to get my new business cards printed and start using some of my new things. She also designed a blog header for me and soon I will have a new blog devoted just to my photography business. I’ll post the link as soon as I get it up and running so all of you can come visit me there too.
Anyway, here is my new set:
