pregnancy dreams

I had the craziest dream early this morning. I dreamed that I had the baby–at 35 weeks and everything was great. I did have it at the birthing center, but it wasn’t Marcia who delivered me. It was some Asian woman. And, Scott wasn’t there. I drove myself there in my old Honda Civic. I went in and had the baby. I couldn’t call Scott because my cell phone was in the car and I couldn’t get the real phone to work. It was weird. He was a boy, and he was big. Crazy. I think I dreamed about it because I read that Jessica had her baby! I can’t wait to hear her story. She had it unassisted at home. I guess the midwife showed up 1 minute after she had him. She had another boy. How exciting. I can’t wait to be next, but I am really not getting too anxious yet. I really want to wait until I am 37 weeks.

Yesterday I met Julie for lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. We decided not to go to the movie. It was just too much, and they didn’t leave the hotel in Park City until too late. We went to lunch, and then I went to my eye appt while Julie went to the outlet stores. My eye is “significantly better” he said. So, I am happy about that.

I went back and met Julie, and we shopped for a little while. but, both girls were exhausted! I stopped on the way home and got pasta and sausage and made dinner for everyone at our house. It was better to stay home, easier for the kids. It was fun, but kind of a lot of work.

Emma had a total meltdown over nothing last night. I guess Emilie touched something of hers, and she flipped out. She cried hysterically for about 10 minutes. Scott tried holding her and she was thrashing around and waving her arms. I took over and walked around with her. I set her on the floor and she flung herself down and pounded on the door. Whew. It was probably her worst one ever. She was just so overtired! We are going to stay home today so she can get caught up on her sleep. She is napping now, and hopefully she will again this afternoon.

I really want to get the futon moved. I want to paint!!! Emma’s bedding should be on it’s way, the furniture is here, it just needs to be picked up. I need to paint, pick up the furniture, buy the mattresses, and set everything up :-) I can’t wait to get it all done!
